Course Description: This course covers common errors made when placing holds and other common holds-related tasks.

Membership Level: Union List, Basic Online, and Fully Participating

Video: Approximately 23 minutes.

Course Objectives:

- understand how to avoid common mistakes when placing holds
- when and how to transfer item-level holds
- re-place holds
- change a patron's position in the hold queue

Course Tips:

Before starting the course, verify you can log in to the PrairieCat support site to access policies and procedures documentation. Library staff will use their L2 username and password to log in to the PrairieCat support site.
