Circulation, Class 6: How to Work with Fines (CS006)


Description
Course Description: This class explains how to calculate fines owed, pay and waive fines, create manual charges, and how to reinstate fines.

Membership Level: Basic Online and Fully Participating

Video: Approximately 12 minutes.

Course Objectives: The Core Circulation Competencies covered in this class are:

- View estimated fines
- Pay fines partially/completely
- Waive fines
- View paid fines
- Add charges to a patron account

An optional worksheet is available in the Course Documents. There is no requirement to submit the completed worksheet to PrairieCat.

Course Tips:

Before starting the course, verify you can log in to the PrairieCat support site to access policies and procedures documentation. Library staff will use their L2 username and password to log in to the PrairieCat support site.

It is recommended to download/review associated files/documents prior to watching video.
